What is a Mini-Mansion?
Definition: A spacious home up to 3,300 square feet with a floorplan that flows and a master bedroom retreat up to 900 square feet – a home designed for active and growing families.
In today’s market, families who need more space discover homes that meet their needs are often not within their reach financially. After observing the effects of the new economy, Lamar Smith knew he could and should “redefine the affordable home.” He believes families deserve a quality home that will accommodate their lifestyle and offer plenty of space for a growing family – at a price that the average family can afford.
That spirit created Lamar Smith Signature Homes, which is the “Home of the Mini-Mansion” – showcased through The Savannah and The Atlanta home plans in The Georgian Collection. These homes feature approximately 3,000 square feet and offer 4 or 5 bedrooms and 3 or 4 full baths per available options. The Atlanta also offers an optional 3rd car garage.
The trademark feature of the Mini-Mansion is the owner's suite which exceeds almost anyone's expectations. The in-suite sitting area is perfect for a sofa and bookcases and large screen television while the two walk-in closets present a combined storage space of nearly 200 square feet. The spa-sized master bath includes a garden tub, step-in shower, dual vanities, and separate water closet, plus plenty of space for an armoire or dresser.
